What I Do

Why DayZ

Ive played DayZ as a game for over a decade now and it sure has come a long way in that time.

It can be hard, it can be very unpredictable, and it is unforgiving.  You can survive for weeks, just to die from worn out shoes and wounds on your feet.

Though it is an older game, and it definitely has its buggy moments 'thats DayZ for ya' as the saying goes.  I keep going back as it is just so random, the community across the Globe is enormous, Servers range from simple to very extravagant, and it all comes down to the creativity of the Server Owner, and usually the Dev team behind the scenes.

As of being bought by Bohemia Interactive, and released as a full game, it continues to get several updates each year, adding new equipment, fixing bugs, and really revitalizing the playability of the game.

I now run a private server, which I have fully customized.  The ease of changing the game into something more easy, or hard, or give it a Pokemon feel if you wish, Dozens of different maps-and the ability to make your own.  Guns you can hear for 5 miles, there are zombie, but you can add so much more.

If you like Survival / Zombie / Post apocalyptic games - I recommend you give DayZ a try.

Ahhhh, Blender

Ive used Blender on and off over about 5 years, total time spent actually creating would be about 1.5 years.

The scene below is something I created for Christmas of 2022, I modeled everything you see and used a few pics in different ways for various effects.  The versatility of Blender for me, makes it a top notch program for any kind of digital artist.  The power of your computer is really the only limiting factor when it comes to what you can create, though there are certain ways around these limitations, by using overlays and hiding various objects during a render, then bringing them all together in the built in compositer and video editor.  This is just brushing the surface of the full capabilities of Blender.
